CAROLINA ALLIANCE

The Carolina Alliance is a Carolina Amateur Hockey Association sanctioned program that is intended to provide a AAA experience for players within CAHA that may not have the opportunity to play AAA or who do not have the resources to do a full year schedule of AAA and the time/cost that comes with that commitment.

Beginning in 2021-22, The NC Golden Bears, Queen City Royals, Raleigh Raptors and Carolina Rage began as member clubs. in the 2022-23 the Charleston Stingrays were added. During both seasons players from non member clubs were encouraged and allowed to tryout. Players from the Greenville Road Warriors and Cape Fear Warriors made the cut.

The first two seasons allowed the program to get the kinks out and heading into the 2023-24 season the Carolina Alliance has built a name for itself on the AAA circuit and it is truly a great experience for those who have attended. This alliance between competing clubs is unprecedented in youth hockey and it keeps growing stronger each year.
